TeckPath Information Technology Solutions Ltd. (“TeckPath,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit teckpath.com, submit forms, communicate with us, or use related online services (collectively, the “Site”).
This policy applies to website visitors and business contacts. If you are a TeckPath client, additional terms in your service agreement, data processing addendum, or security documentation may also apply.
TeckPath operates in Canada and serves businesses across Canada and elsewhere. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and substantially similar provincial legislation where applicable.

2. Personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and identity information: name, business name, job title, email address, phone number, mailing address, and preferred contact method
- Inquiry and support information: messages, support tickets, demo requests, and details you provide about your environment or needs
- Marketing and event information: newsletter subscriptions, webinar registrations, campaign responses, and communication preferences
- Recruitment information: resume, employment history, and application materials if you apply for a role
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, session duration, and similar analytics data
- Cookie and similar technology data: preferences, session identifiers, and analytics tags as described in Section 8
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through general website forms unless you choose to provide it and we have a lawful basis to process it.

- Provide, administer, and improve managed IT, security, compliance, cloud, and related services for clients

- Process job applications and manage recruitment
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect TeckPath, our clients, and others

We hold SOC 2 Type II attestation and align our security program with recognized frameworks such as ISO 27001.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to meet legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and our relationship with you.
11. Your privacy rights

- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when it was most recently revised. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.

SMS privacy policy
This SMS Privacy Policy supplements TeckPath’s Privacy Policy above and applies to information collected through our text messaging services.
1. Information we collect through SMS
TeckPath may collect your mobile number, message content you send, delivery confirmations, and interaction data such as reply keywords and timestamps.
2. How we use SMS information
SMS data is used to deliver messages, provide support, verify identity, operate services, and maintain records. TeckPath does not use SMS data for marketing or sell mobile information.
3. Information sharing
We may share SMS data only with carriers, messaging platforms, and technical vendors that assist in message delivery. We do not share SMS opt-in or opt-out data for marketing or with unrelated third parties.
4. Legal disclosures
TeckPath may disclose SMS-related information when required to comply with legal obligations, respond to law enforcement requests, or protect TeckPath’s rights or security.
5. Data security
TeckPath uses safeguards consistent with our main Privacy Policy to protect SMS data, including access controls, internal procedures, and secure handling.
